3.  The Last of Us Remastered

Last year, the PlayStation 3 get an exclusive game that probably one of the best games on the console and also one of the best games released in 2013. The game that I mean none other than the The Last of Us. Seeing the success of the PS4, PS4 and the number of previous owners do not have a PS3, Naughty Dog also take this chance to re-release of The Last of Us to PS4 console, with quality for console hardware of course.

PS4 version entitled The Last of Us Remastered Edition was released on July 29, 2014 yesterday. Even so, the review I wrote is not exclusively helpful to the PS4 version only. If you have a PS3 and have not played The Last of Us, maybe this review will help you make a decision.

4.  Call Of Duty : Advanced Warfare

Up to this point it seems everyone already knows about the Call of Duty. It is a series of first-person shooter games are the most famous and lucrative ever in the history of the gaming world. But the general consensus is beginning to form Call of Duty series has begun to dull. This is reinforced by the last series that gets good response although less in terms of sales of Call of Duty: Ghost is one of the highest selling game during the year 2013.

Players are already bored with the same formula and if the developers do not do new things then we may soon see the demise of the Call of Duty franchise. But it seems it will not happen, at least in the near future. This is because Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare successfully breathed new life into this series. At least bring some new flavor to the perception and the game is already famous for its incredible action typical Hollywood.

Before I start this review I have to say that I have only ever played Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: Ghosts. So obviously I missed some of their latest series (5 to be exact) and it makes me not have the same fatigue with players who play Call of Duty series each year.

5.  Shadow of Mordor

Shadow of Mordor brings you into another adventure in the world of The Lord of the Rings, more precisely Middle-Earth. As someone who does not really follow The Lord of the Rings, to be honest I am a little scared because of the confusion will not understand the story in this game. Although this game takes time after the story of The Hobbit and before The Lord of the Rings, the story in the Shadow of Mordor formed very simple that if you do not follow the story, you're not going to miss a lot of things.

You will act as Talion, a ranger of Gondor who avenge the death of his family. In the Shadow of Mordor, Talion also not act alone. You will be accompanied by Celebrimbor, an Elf Lord who appeared in the form of amnesia and spirit residing within Talion. He also will help drive Talion well as trying to find the memory of himself.

If you notice, the story in this game is quite simple. Fans of the series The Lord of the Rings may also not like the premise of the story of this game has to offer because it is too straight. In fact, maybe that is not the fans will feel the same way as simple story in this game. But, do not worry. Because if the story is not what makes this game shine, then the gameplay in Shadow of Mordor that would act.

6.  The Evil Within

Shinji Mikami famous as the creator of Resident Evil is finally bringing forth a new game after his cooperation with Suda51 in the Shadow of the Damned was released three years ago. Once he established himself Tango Gameworks, was born The Evil Within. From the name alone, maybe a little to remind you with Resident Evil. But it seems it is not limited to the mere name.

The Evil Within similarity with Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4 is mainly cause mixed feelings in my mind. Part of me felt this was a good thing for a survival horror back to life, some of them I feel no deep innovation of this game. Although it is not something that one hundred percent bad, bad visual presentation makes the value of this game falls in my eyes.

The QC25 is Bose' best noise cancelling headphone to date. As someone who has been using Bose QC headphones daily for 3+ years now, I think I can give this a reasonably educated review. I have owned QC15 (predecessor to these headphones) for about 3 years now, and have owned QC20 (in-ear headphones) since they came out. My musical tastes are varied: everything from Yiruma to Taylor Swift to Childish Gambino to Zedd. I listen at my desk at home, in the office, and on public transportation.

Four things really mattered to me when I upgraded to the QC25: sound quality, noise cancelling, comfort, and the portability. So I'll skip aesthetics and the other features that you can easily read about. And I'll tackle each of those four critical points in this review, naming a winner in each category.

Sound Quality Winner: QC25
You do need to "burn-in" your Bose headphones. Play music through them for about 100 hours and you'll hear a difference—they'll sound much better than they did straight out of the box. After burn-in, indeed, the QC25 has a slightly superior sound to its predecessor. Also, the over-ear headphones have the easy sound-quality advantage on the QC20 earbuds because you get a wider sound stage and harder-hitting bass.

There's marketing hype about how the QC25 noise cancelling is superior. Honestly, I can't really tell. I could tell the difference between the QC20 and QC15 because the "StayHear tips" blocked the sound in a different way. But in every-day use, the QC25 noise cancelling is really about the same as that in the QC15—which is to say that it is excellent and industry-leading

Another Review :

My review is geared more towards QC15 owners wondering if they should upgrade. I myself was under this dilemma, debating whether it was worth it, and up until now there were pretty much no reviews comparing both headphones. So I gave in to temptation and decided to bite the bullet and buy myself the QC25 to compare to my QC15 so that I could use it on a long-haul flight that I was about to take, which I already took, which is why I am writing this review now. So yes, I have actually compared side-by-side both headphones on the battlefield. I think this is the best place to compare them, where they are meant to be used, as opposed to going in store and trying them on there. At least in the stores where I have seen the demos, there is no flight noise simulation, so I think that such trying out is useless.

Anyways, results? I think I am keeping my QC 15.

To be specific, here is why:

1) In the noise canceling department, I honestly could not tell a difference between the QC15 and QC25. Maybe some people claim that the QC 25's noise cancellation is better than the QC15's (I've read quite a few reviews saying so), but I suspect that that is more of a psychological influence. This reminds me of a psychology experiment in which our professor held an opened small bottle with a special aromatic liquid inside, and told us that within a few minutes the whole room would slowly begin to be filled with its very powerful, but attractive aroma... She then asked us to raise our hands as soon as we smelled the aroma. A few minutes later when about two-thirds of the lecture hall had their hands up (about 120 students were there present) she revealed to us that it was just water in there! Anyways, I think you get my point here.

Nikon L830 DOES NOT HAVE ANY ZOOM NOISE WHILE FILMING A VIDEO. It's easy to use in auto mode or has plenty of settings for the novis/hobbist that doesn't want to invest a couple of grand in lense's and bodies. My fujifilm S8200 had terrible zoom noise. That's why I took it back!

This camera has far superior clarity in still pictures compared to the Fujifilm S8200 and when filming in HD, this camera has no interlacing issues when moving the camera like the Fujifilm S8200. I like the ability of just buying AA batteries and not being tied down to a lithium battery pack. I like the RED body although it shows fingerprints more than a black camera....no biggies! I've never used a View FInder so I don't miss that. I am on the fence about the settings buttons and not having a rotating selector switch. I do like having the saturation button at my fintertips though so maybe i'm really not on the fence.

I do have only 1 issue. On my old Fujifilm S700, the flash auto popped up when needed. The L830 has to be manually released to function, but knowing that.....I just release it most of the time.

MSRP was $299, Sale was $269 and Got it from Walmart for $229, I think she quoted me the wrong price over the phone and had to get a manager override to give me the quoted $229.

I'm using a 32Gig Class 10 SanDisk HC Ultra Memory card from Best Buy for $24 and it will allow me to take over 3000 photos. I think I should have went with a 8Gig SanDisk Ultra PLUS that had a faster transfer rate. I think I'd do more research on the SDHC Cards before I buy one.

DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4

I should start by saying this: I was mostly a 360 gamer, and i always disliked the ds3, the 360 was by far the best controller I have used.. WAS. I actually wanted the xbox until Microsoft revealed it ironically.. long story short, their antics will not be tolerated. Most of this review is a comparison between the DS4, the DS3 and the xbox 360 controllers.

The PS4 is amazing so far, much better than the ps3 and that goes for the controller too.. I used to really dislike the Sony controllers as they felt light, cheap, slick and uncomfortable when compared to the 360's.. not so with the ds4, it just might be my new favorite controller; narrowly beating the 360's (though i do wish it had settings to tone down and customize the lightbar color). The speaker in it reminds me of the wii's except that it's not of terrible static-y sound quality like the wiimote. I think the speaker will probably be wasted in most games anyway however. 

DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 - Jet Black

The touchpad isn't as bad as I thought it would be.. but it is basically useless for now. The internet browser is where I assumed it would be most naturally used, and yet, it doesn't even function in the browser. I dislike the "share" button, don't get me wrong, its a cool feature, but it wont be used nearly enough to warrant a physical devoted key.. I would have preferred it just be an option after hitting the PS button.. and made that a "menu" key, while leaving "options" as the classic "start" button.

Otherwise I really can't complain. The triggers are infinitely better than the honestly terrible ones the ds3 had.. which were curved in the wrong direction, making it harder to press and easier to have your finger slip off. They are now curved in the correct direction and the pressure needed to activate them is perfect. The joysticks are much better, with a little lip on the edges and made of a better quality rubber. This makes them more comfortable, and helps to keep your fingers from sliding off accidentally. The thing comes with built in rechargeable batteries, which is debatable when vs the xbox battery pack.. I think its ridiculous these days to not include rechargeable batteries, BUT the removable pack approach is better in many ways. 

First it allows 3rd parties like nyko to make better charge stations and higher capacity batteries.. it allows you to replace them if they burn out, and if the controller is dying, you can swap in a spare rather than be forced to get up close to plug in.. I wish sony had went for the best of both and made it come standard with a rechargeable pack.. or at the very least designed for some pin connectors on the back for simpler drop-in 3rd party charge stations.

The controller is much rounder than its predecessor, in all the areas that help. People with large or small hands should be equally pleased here. The back also has a textured feel now, which gives an impression of quality as well as the obvious grip benefit. I'm also glad it accepts micro-usb. As an android user I have plenty of those cables around and they are obtainable cheaply for everyone else. It also takes standard 9mm headphones, and can be charged through the bottom port (the slot for headsets or presumably a text pad) as well. The text pad on the DS3 was just stupid, being at the top made it difficult to use and navigate at the same time, and made it look ridiculous. 

It was in my mind obviously an afterthought for sony back then, but now with the ds4 hopefully something comparable to the Microsoft keypads will come out in the future, comfortable enough to leave attached sometimes and not be of much bother. Also BLUETOOTH, which means you can use it easily with your PC or your android device for delightful emulator goodness.
